For Potential Hosts

Are you a winemaker with a passion for Provence? Perhaps you are a food blogger who has dreams of culinary tours of Tuscany, or a restaurateur who yearns for authentic regional wines and cuisine in Austria…

VinoCruising specializes in themed group travel across the globe. And with every group of travelers comes an expert in their field: are you that person? You don’t need to be a travel expert (that’s our job!), but you do need to have a desire to see, explore and share with fellow travelers. And benefits for you, the host, abound! Here are just a few of the possibilities available to you:

Wineries

VinoCruising organizes groups of 20-200 travelers who are passionate about wine aboard ocean-going cruise ships and river vessels domestically and internationally. Your wine is the highlight of the trip, and is featured in private wine tastings, wine-pairing meals and private parties. A VinoCruising representative works directly with the cruise line and takes care of all of the details for you. What’s in it for you? Exposure for your winery, additional wine club members, and a vacation of a lifetime! Land-based adventures are also available in any region you can think of. Where do YOU want to go? Take a look at how easy it is to make your wine the star of the show: https://youtu.be/ExMbZmUKhts Call or email Margaret Miner to discuss the details: 925-399-4269 or mminer@cruiseone.com

Food/Wine Bloggers

You share your passion for cooking, baking, fine cuisine, or fine wine through your blog, and share it with you fans regularly: why not live your passion in Tuscany, or on the beautiful Danube, or in the South Pacific? Increase your exposure by serving as a host for a group of your fans and followers. Through VinoCruising’s own marketing efforts, future followers will be introduced to you and your writings as your group trip is promoted online and in local markets. The hardest decision you’ll have to make is where to go! Call or email Margaret to learn the benefits that await you: 925-399-4269 or 800-634-8118; mminer@cruiseone.com

Restaurateurs

Culinary-themed travel is on the rise, with options ranging from walking tours of Italy, to Food and Wine tours of France, to culinary instruction by skilled chefs on the open oceans. You no doubt have a local following: expand and deepen your reach by offering fans of your establishment the unique opportunity to travel with you! This outside of the box- is there a regional cuisine you’d like to experience first hand? Have you ever said to yourself, “I’d really like to go there someday…?” Someday can be today, and getting started is super simple: just give Margaret a call to discuss itinerary options, and get ready to set sail…925-399-4269 or 800-634-8118; mminer@cruiseone.com

“Jeremy – When I approached this idea of a trip with you, I thought it was too small for you to plan. You said no problem. Then I had to move it to another week… you said no problem. Then I wanted to add another day… you said no problem, yet again.

Working with you puts a smile on my face that calling and communicating with an airline or hotel cannot. You saved me so much time in working through all the details and making this “girls trip” happen for us – I cannot thank you enough. You can tell you really care about your clients and their trip needs and their happiness. Where shall we go after the U.K.? 😉 ”

“I recently returned from the Page Mill Winery Cruise to Alaska that I booked with Margaret Miner of VinoCruising. What I great time I had! The food and entertainment on the ship was very good, and there was a large selection of excursions available to choose from at each stop- my favorites were seeing humpback whales in Juneau and orcas in Victoria… what a treat!

There were also special events offered to our group with Page Mill Winery: we had wine tastings of a variety of their wines, which were all excellent; we also had a wine pairing dinner at one of the specialty restaurants on board- the food was wonderful and the wine selected for each course was exceptional! As a first time, somewhat nervous cruiser I can’t say enough about Margaret.

She was in regular contact with us in the months leading up to our departure and she encouraged all of us to contact her with any questions and concerns and gave us helpful hints to prepare for the cruise. Once on board, she made sure we were all settled in and having a good time!

Margaret knew I was nervous but she was always there to calm my nerves, help me learn my way around the ship and to just relax and have fun…and I did just that. Will I go on another cruise? You bet! Matter of fact, I already booked a Hawaiian cruise for next year with Margaret and VinoCruising and I can’t wait! Thanks, Margaret.”

“As I look over my photos from the Page Mill Winery Wine Cruise to Alaska, I’m just in awe! I wanted to take a moment to thank you very much for making this cruise possible and for providing so much fun! I had a fantastic time and have so many lasting memories.”

“We decided to cruise to Alaska with VinoCruising because of all the great extras and advice we would receive. Our expectations were certainly surpassed. Margaret’s advice to book excursions early and special on-ship events as soon as we got on the ship allowed us to have fantastic experiences.

We saw wild life including whales, bears, salmon, mountain goats and bald eagles (40 in one place). We were right across the river as a mother bear showed her two cubs how to catch salmon! On the ship, we were two of only 11 people who enjoyed a 10 course meal at the Chef’s Table because we signed up early.

It was the best meal of our lives! The extra wine tastings and wine pairing dinner with Page Mill Winery were also spectacular. Getting to know the fun people in our group plus the convenience of being able to purchase wine on board without having to pay a corkage fee were great extras. We would highly recommend others to travel with VinoCruising.”

“When I saw this cruise sponsored by VinoCruising, I knew that it would be a mistake not to take up the offer. First of all, it was round trip from nearby San Francisco, so no flying or airports were involved. It was to a place I had been to before but wanted to go again, and here was the opportunity. Once decided, everything was made easy by our CruiseOne Representative, Margaret Miner.

There was no trying to get through to any call center, with those endless waits: I just phoned Margaret, and she was able to help with all aspect of the travel. That included: choosing the right excursions for us (seniors), what to expect on the ship, what to expect weather wise, appropriate attire, and being offered inclusive travel protection (just in case). We didn’t need to worry about getting to the ship, getting on and off the ship, or anything in between.

Ah yes, and we like wine and greatly appreciated learning more at the two tastings on offer and loved the wine pairing dinner that was all part of our package. In short, it was a perfect trip and I would unreservedly recommend it to others.”

“VinoCruising wasn’t just professional, but was over the top amazing! I had a very tight budget when planning a trip to the East Coast and couldn’t believe that VinoCruising didn’t just meet my set budget, but came in lower than what I requested! I cannot wait to take my family to see some of America’s most historical locations! Thank you, Margaret at VinoCruising!”

“Margaret Miner of VinoCruising, created the most romantic and unforgettable 25th Wedding Anniversary trip to Catalina Island for my husband and me in March 2015. I told her what we hoped for, and she exceeded our expectations. From our flights, to our boat ride to and from the island, our beautiful room, and the golf cart to get around the island: her attention to detail was flawless.

With our packets in hand we wanted for, and needed nothing. All we had to do was create our beautiful memories. Thank you for the amazing trip Margaret, you are the BEST!”

Debbie Smith, MM, April 2015

“This past summer Margaret booked my trip to Europe to visit my daughter! She handled everything from air, rail passes, amazing hotel options and custom tours! It was quite a whirlwind trip…3 countries in 8 days! She is super organized, competitively priced and will use any time I travel!”
